Tailor Francesco Florio, Accademico Junior and owner of Sartoria Florio in Paris, has won the fifth edition of “Milano su Misura – Arbiter Trophy,” the international event celebrating excellence in artisanal tailoring.
Held on October 24 and 25 at Palazzo Clerici in Milan, the event brought together 23 master tailors — 4 Italian and 19 from abroad — who competed on the theme “Winter Elegance,” inspired by the upcoming Milan–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
The jury awarded Florio “for his outstanding interpretation of the theme, expressed through a style rich in nuance and marked by an unmistakable sense of identity.”
The tailor, already recognized with numerous accolades in the international sartorial scene, also took part in the 2025 edition of the “Forbici d’Oro” competition, confirming his refined aesthetic sensibility and technical mastery, which distinguish him as one of the most promising representatives of the new generation of master artisans.
