Manichino d’Oro 2026: double victory for Giada Zanoni (Veneto)

The 8th edition of “Made in Rebibbia – Ricuciamolo Insieme” took place in the green area of the Rebibbia Penitentiary Institution. The project, promoted by the Accademia Nazionale dei Sartori APS – ETS, continues to represent a meaningful example of how craftsmanship and vocational training can serve as concrete tools for social inclusion and professional reintegration.
Founded in 2017 from an idea by Ilario Piscioneri, former President of the Academy, the initiative was created with the aim of enhancing Italian sartorial know-how as an educational and professional lever, offering participants a training pathway based on technical skills, discipline, and personal development. Through workshop-based activities designed and supervised by Honorary President Sebastiano Di Rienzo, the participants had the opportunity to engage with haute couture tailoring techniques and the various stages of garment construction, developing awareness and personal responsibility.
This year’s edition, hosted by RAI journalist Erica Tuccino, featured the presentation of a selection of thirty garments created by the participants during the program, the result of an intense and structured learning process. “Made in Rebibbia” thus reaffirms the value of training as a tool capable of generating real opportunities, restoring centrality to work as an element of dignity and social participation.
The Accademia Nazionale dei Sartori extends its sincere gratitude to the Administration of the Rebibbia Penitentiary Institution, represented by Dr. Teresa Mascolo, and to all those who contributed to the realization of the project, in particular Master Sebastiano Di Rienzo, whose constant dedication has accompanied and supported the participants throughout their journey.
Special thanks are also extended to the partners who supported the initiative, helping to strengthen the dialogue between training, industry, and civil society: BMW Roma and Vitale Barberis Canonico.
The 8th edition of “Made in Rebibbia” thus confirms itself not only as a training project, but also as an experience of human and professional value, capable of bringing together skills, inclusion, and future opportunities through the universal language of craftsmanship.
The Academy reaffirms its commitment to promoting initiatives that, through tailoring and the culture of making, continue to generate concrete opportunities for growth and reintegration.
