Made in Rebibbia – Ricuciamolo Insieme: The 8th Edition of the Project Dedicated to Training, Inclusion and Haute Couture (July 3, 2026)
7 July 2026Stile Sartoriale, the event promoted by the Accademia Nazionale dei Sartori, took place on 26 September 2026 at Palazzo Pamphilj, the seat of the Embassy of Brazil in Italy.
On 26 September 2026, the Accademia Nazionale dei Sartori celebrated a new edition of Stile Sartoriale, hosted in the prestigious setting of the Embassy of Brazil in Italy in Rome, at Palazzo Pamphilj.
The event, organised in collaboration with Confartigianato Roma, was an important occasion to come together and celebrate the art of tailoring, bringing together Master Tailors, shirtmakers and trousermakers, representatives of textile companies, industry professionals, and Italian and international guests.
The 2026 edition, titled “Trame di Stile”, focused on the relationship between tailoring and the textile supply chain, highlighting the value of collaboration among the different professionals who contribute to the making of a tailored garment.
During the evening, 70 tailored creations were presented, made by the Academy’s Masters using fabrics provided by partner companies. The presentation showcased not only the finished result, but also the journey that brings together fabric, design, artisanal craftsmanship and tailoring expertise.
Particular attention was given to the participation of Italian and international tailoring houses, with the aim of fostering dialogue and connections among professionals from different tailoring traditions.
The evening was also a significant institutional moment for the Academy. President Daniele Piscioneri expressed heartfelt thanks to H.E. Renato Mosca de Souza, Ambassador of Brazil to Italy, for his hospitality and for the attention shown to the Academy and its work. During the event, the Ambassador was named Honorary Member of the Accademia Nazionale dei Sartori.

In turn, H.E. Ambassador Renato Mosca presented the Accademia Nazionale dei Sartori medal in recognition of the contribution of Gerardo Andriello, who succeeded in bringing Italian haute tailoring to Brazil and passing it on. The award was received by his son, Francesco Andriello.

The Academy’s Awards
One of the most significant moments of Stile Sartoriale 2026 was dedicated to the awards that the Academy confers on individuals who, through their work, have contributed to promoting the art of tailoring.
The “Vita da Sarto 2026” Award was presented to Master Tailor Silvana Righi Cartei, Honorary Member of the Academy, by President Elena Lorenzini, Deputy Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, and to Master Tailor Rino Parisi, for his long professional career and his contribution to tailoring, presented by the President of Confartigianato Moda, Moreno Vignolini.

The award given to Silvana Righi Cartei is all the more significant because, for the first time in the history of the Award, it was conferred on a woman.
The special recognition “Magister Vitae Sutorum” was awarded to Master Tailor Sebastiano Di Rienzo, Honorary President of the Academy, in recognition of his long commitment to training, to passing on tailoring knowledge and to promoting the profession, to a standing ovation from those present.
